Anyone towed a Passat or Jetta on a dolly?
We have a 98 Passat and the only way we can tow it is with the front wheels up. My questions is, has anyone done this? It is so low to the ground I worried that the back end will hit if we go over a bump. I know a tow dolly isn't the best way to go but I have no other choice.
We would appreciate your input, time is getting short!

Does the concentrator she uses have an alarm on it? I have to sleep with it and I am required to have an alarm in case of power failure.

Does O2 concentrator degrade interior???
I use an oxygen concentrator while camping and we noticed in our last RV, a class C, the foam in all of the seats and the over the cab mattress deteriorated rather quickly. I'm wondering if it is due to the concentrator. We always leave a window or vent cracked open a little for fresh air which is hard when trying to run the AC or heat.
Does anyone know if the concentrator is bad for the interior, I would like to hear from users.
Also, I'm now waiting for a new concentrator that is supposed to be more efficient. Right now it is costing us $70.00 a month to run this one! We have a very high electric rate here. I also want one that is shorter than the 25" one I have now so it will fit under our table, the only place I have for it.

Dining Table Search
We just purchased a new '07 Newmar Bay Star Class A and really like it except that it has the booth type dining table and benches in a light wood color, oak etc. We would like to switch it out for the dining table with extra leaf, two upholstered chairs & two folding chairs set up like some have. It is an option when ordering new but we bought this off the lot.
I asked the dealer for a price on the table & chairs and I couldn't breath after hearing the price. I know there are places that deal in used and new overstocked furniture for RVs and I have seen several on the web but can't find one that shows pictures of the actual stock they have. Does anyone know of such a place or does anyone have a set they would like to sell us?

Advice on Newmar Bay Purchase
We may be about to buy a new '07 Newmar Bay Star model 3102 class A. Does anyone out there have one, if so...what do you like or don't like about it? We have been holding out for three years for a Rexhall Aerbus but can't find one anywhere around here (FL or MA).
We find the Newmar Bay Star to be quite Spartan or sort of stripped down in appearance. There doesn't seem to be a lot of thought put in to the appointments and decorating but the "bones" seem sturdy and the space well planned and the storage well thought out.
We are moving from a 23' class Class C so I can't wait to have all that storage space, especially the garages underneath. We would love to hear from anyone familiar with this coach.

Air horns are great but what I really would like is a horn like on the big Cadillacs, they sound like an ocean liner, they are two tone. Check them out, don't know what it would take to have one installed but they are really cool sounding and loud! :)

Just what is the newest news on this recall? It seems as if no dealer wants to get involved. As we posted some time back, we were told to keep an "eye on it" and if we see any greenish corrosion or discoloration on the tube, stop using the fridge and shut off the gas. We still don't see any but are about to go from MA to FL and I'm a little nervous about it. When is Dometic going to get serious about this? Do we have to wait for some family to blow sky high before anything is done about getting everyone's unit fixed, right... the first time... and at no cost? :? :M
